What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth wireless technology is the global short-range wireless standard for personal connectivity of a broad range of electronic devices. Bluetooth has a set frequency band which sends data from one device (mobile phone, PDA, computer, laptop etc) to another Bluetooth-enabled device.

Why Bluetooth Marketing?
LiveAd Mobile offers you the facility to send free marketing messages to passers by, an extremely powerful tool for your marketing campaigns. Using the LiveAd Mobile software you are able to send an array of audio-visual content such as images, animated gifs, text, business cards, coupons, movie clips, ring tones and much more.

How much does it cost to send or receive Bluetooth messages?
Bluetooth is FREE. Because the LiveAd Mobile solution uses Bluetooth technology it makes no difference whether you send one or ten thousand messages you will not be charged. Furthermore your customers will not be charged for receiving messages.

How does it work?
LiveAd Mobile transmits digital content via Bluetooth to a customer’s mobile phone and asks them if they wish to accept the transfer. Within a specified range LiveAd Mobile automatically recognises all compatible mobile phones and immediately sends out an enquiry. Once acceptance has been granted a customers mobile will start to download the content – fast, free of charge and unobtrusively.

Once a campaign has been sent to a Bluetooth-enabled device does it continue to send to the same device?
No. Once a mobile has received or declined the content, the software will not resend the same content to the same mobile on the same campaign.

Up to what range can Bluetooth messages be sent?
The LiveAd Mobile solution presents our clients with two options. Messages can be sent up to a 40m or 150m range using a specific Bluetooth USB adapter.

Is there any expensive hardware to purchase?
No. Unlike many other providers our solution simply uses a Bluetooth USB adapter and our specialist software. All you need is your existing PC or laptop, thus providing an ultra mobile solution. We do not see why you should have to purchase or rent an expensive hardware product which has no technological or functional difference.

Is there any invasion of privacy?
No. The LiveAd Mobile solution will always ask if a user wishes to participate – unlike the SMS messages you sometimes receive on your phone and the SPAM in your email. No personal data (including for example their phone number) is extracted from the users’ phone.

Do you offer any content design services?
Yes. LiveAd Design is a team we employ who offer our clients a bespoke graphical design service. We create branded text, corporate jpegs and animated gifs within a 24 hour turnaround.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?
Yes. We’ve given our LiveAd Mobile solution a lot of thought to make it the best it can be. In fact we’re so confident of our product that if you change your mind and return the product within the first 14 days, we’ll refund all your money.

What’s the difference between Bluetooth Marketing and SMS messaging?
Using Bluetooth proximity advertising instead of SMS messaging is far more cost-effective. For example a typical SMS provider charges £270.00 plus VAT to send 1,000 texts.
